Capitol Medical Service is the premier event EMS provider in the State of Texas. We are a State Certified First Responder Organization with Physician and State approved Advanced Life Support Protocols. Our Event Services Include:
BLS CARE (BASIC LIFE SUPPORT)
Personnel that are trained, certified, and equipped to provide Basic Life Support. Treatments include: CPR, basic airway, vital sign monitoring, basic medication administration, O2 delivery, bandaging/splinting, and spinal immobilization.
ALS CARE (ADVANCED LIFE SUPPORT)
Personnel that are trained, certified, and equipped to provide Advanced Life Support. In addition to BLS care, treatments include: advanced airway, IV therapy, cardiac monitoring, and advanced medication administration capabilities.
Our team of insured, board – certified emergency physicians provide our clients & patrons the highest level of on-site medical care. Our goal is to mitigate liability and minimize transports.
We offer branded medical tents, that can be staffed & equipped for any event of any size.
RAPID RESPONSE TEAMS
For rapid medical response at any size event, we offer both bike and medical UTV teams. Both are great options for venues/festivals and courses that have larger coverage areas.
Our on-track motor sports safety services are comprised of highly trained physicians, medics, and fire-fighters that are able to handle any on-track emergency. Services include: Pre-race planning and resource recommendations, track resource placement, fire suppression, extrication, medical treatment, towing, track clean-up & repair.
CMS set medics have the skills, experience, and medical kits to handle any type of situation that may occur on any commercial or film set.
FILM COVID COMPLIANCE OFFICER
The Covid Compliance Officer (CCO) is responsible for making sure the film set is operating safely and following all safety guidelines set forth by the CDC, State Government, Local Government, and SAGAFTRA. The CCO reports directly to Capitol Medical Service Production Coordinator. While on set they work directly with the Production Assistants and Production Managers to ensure all guidelines
are adhered to. Any problems on set are to be addressed with on set Production Managers to ensure all members of cast and crew are staying safe. The following is a list of some of the normal responsibilities of a CCO.
- Cast and crew check in, handing out wristbands, and temperature checks.
Filling out report logs.
- Possibly swabbing for Covid 19, Flu, or Strep. This is dependent on production needs and film contract.
- Making sure all signage is hanging in view in various locations for all cast and crew to observe.
- Wipe down of high contact surfaces multiple times per day.
- Ensure compliance with mask rules and social distancing.
- Temperature monitoring at regular intervals based on production needs.
- Wristband monitoring to ensure Crew are in their designated areas for safety of the cast that are unmasked.
- End of shift reports.
